Cream Cheese Frosting

If you are looking for a replica of the Cream Cheese Frosting you buy in the store, this one is it. This one is smooth and rich especially if you sift the confectioners sugar prior to using.

Special Tools:
Stand Mixer

½ pkg cream cheese (4 ounces)(softened)
¼ cup butter (softened)
1 cup Confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla


Beat cream cheese in blender until smooth. Add butter and beat cream cheese and butter together. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth without any lumps.

We use this frosting on everything from Cakes to Cheesecakes. Makes a smooth background for decorating and has a rich frosting taste. Be sure to use an electric mixer for this one to incorporate the ingredients together. We just received a Farberware mixer to try out and it’s doing a professional job.
